Aon‘s Marketing team asked us to assist with tailoring their thought pieces on various asset classes to be appropriate for European investors, primarily in Germany and the Netherlands. We worked with local business and investment heads to adapt the pieces for the local audiences.
We managed the translation process and created copy for web and social media to distribute these pieces effectively.

The CFA UK asked us to review their current communication plan and to provide consultancy on their approach to marketing strategy, planning, messaging, execution, optimisation and staffing. Specifically in terms of the current marketing messaging, we reviewed brand positioning, tone of voice, messaging hierarchy, frequency of comms, channel calibration and then made recommendations for short-, medium- and long-term wins.
We presented and discussed a detailed report to the CFA Marketing Team, presented a summary of our findings to the CEO of the CFA UK Society in partnership with the CFA Marketing Team, and also produced a high-level presentation for the CFA UK Board to consider.
Linda is the marketing lead and is on the Steering Committee for the Diversity Project (DP), an initiative that accelerates progress towards an inclusive culture and achieving diversity across the investment profession with over 50 well known industry members.
She was an integral part of the successful launch of the DP, particularly in relation to messaging and branding. She is the driving force in the DP's website, social media, e-newletters, and annual industry-wide events. Linda helps the DP workstreams, along with the marketing volunteers, to help them with their marketing initiatives and also works with our press partner to spread the word of this initiative.
Last year, Linda project managed the five fundraising events across the UK, ranging from 40 to over 400 people, for the Diversity Project Charity raising half million pounds. Working with teams from; M&G, Standard Life Aberdeen and Virgin Money, EY and the Co-operative Bank, LGIM, and also with the Lord Mayor's appeal for the Grande Finale at the Guildhall. She is excited have been appointed a Trustee of the Charity and is now on the Fundraising Committee.
We have worked with Linda and her team over the last year across a diverse range of initiatives. These include a fundamental refresh of our branding and collateral materials, hosting our website and project managing our 25th anniversary celebration. UK-based Investment Manager
We partnered with this UK-based investment manager to design their pitch decks for a new product. They wanted the slides to have a professional and innovative look and feel to them, and they also needed help drawing out their USPs. We streamlined and edited content, ensuring it was relevant to different types of clients. We also ensured consistency throughout the decks, and made sure they adhered to their brand guidelines.
The final decks were aesthetically impactful, with a good balance of both right (creative) and left (analytical) brain material, improving information retention by the audience. The investment manager and their client’s feedback on the decks has been positive.

We project managed a global Marketing Automation Software (MAS) implementation, spanning 40+ countries and over 100 marketing users. We partnered with the internal Hay Group teams and external MAS team of over 30 stakeholders globally – all with different roles and at different levels of seniority within the company. This challenging but exciting project was both time sensitive and mission-critical for the business, which was undergoing a full-scale marketing transformation at the time.
The MAS was designed to both help prioritise and execute marketing tasks in a more streamlined and efficient way, and guide clients and prospects through the sales funnel more quickly to conversion, ultimately generating more revenue faster for the company. Since implementing the MAS and following best MAS marketing practice, Hay Group has seen marketing campaigns run through it deliver engagement rates 50% higher than previous efforts.

We were brought in to project manage Hay Group’s global website enhancement at a pivotal phase in the initiative. Skilful liaison with the internal stakeholder team, external developers and the brand agency was key in bringing this project over the line to time and budget.
The end result was a fully refreshed version of Hay Group’s global website, delivering a better user experience and increased lead generation functionality, with future enhancements planned in a path to digital excellence.

We quickly became part of the team at Newton Investment Management, helping organise and run their annual investment and charities conferences. We used our significant event management experience to handle a number of elements of the planning and execution – including working with speakers, creating an event app, increasing audience engagement, liaising with the third party audiovisual (AV) provider and managing the logistics.
As a team, we all worked hard to make this event as successful and impactful as possible, and included some innovative extras (a drone and Scriberia), as well as leveraging event app technology, making the series Newton’s first paperless events.

We partnered with Mercer Investments to help them manage and deliver their flagship Global Investment Forum Programme. The forums are anticipated events in the financial services industry calendar with five forums held globally throughout the year in Asia, the US and Europe, attracting up to 350 attendees per forum. Using our extensive event management experience along with our knowledge of the company, we successfully project managed the entire series of forums.
Delivering these forums entailed managing the global forum budget and project plan as well as co-ordinating the global agenda committee and gaining final sign-off on the agenda for each region. Regular liaison and communication with third party audiovisual (AV) and event technology suppliers, as well as internal project teams, was paramount to ensure all elements of the forum were on track. This also included overseeing the development and implementation of a specialized app to engage delegates. Delivering individual forums required liaising with local teams on session planning; supporting presenters on slide development and production, speaker rehearsals and delivery of their presentations.
We delivered on ROI and the forums continue to be industry-leading events.

Partnering with Noble Davies Search, an executive search boutique, we developed their key messaging, branding and marketing collateral including customised Microsoft templates. We focused on key messaging that resonated with both the company and their clients, as well as highlighting their USPs. The marketing collateral was updated with a refreshed logo and a new professional design.
In conjunction with our web partner, we built and designed a new responsive website with associated SEO and link building campaigns, enabling NDS to rank higher in search engines.
